If he is truly convinced that the sister is his wife,all he has to do is to pray together with the sister for the Lord to touch the in-laws heart to reconsider him on the bride price. I believe the Lord that lead him to the sister is able to turn their heart to his Favour.so his second option wouldn’t be a thing he has to regret later.
