This brother has no doubt that this particular sister is his wife because the Lord has revealed it to him. He has gone with his people for introduction in the sister’s parent’s house and has collected list. But now the problem is that the bride price and things in the list which he is expected to buy is way too expensive and he doesn’t see how is able to afford them. Now is enthusiasm about marriage dies by the day. He is thinking of looking for a sister whose bride price and marriage rites is within his pocket. What advice do you have for him?
He should try to have a discussion with the lady parent’s for them to reconsider and tell them that he can’t afford it
If he is truly convinced that the sister is his wife,all he has to do is to pray together with the sister for the Lord to touch the in-laws heart to reconsider him on the bride price. I believe the Lord that lead him to the sister is able to turn their heart to his Favour.so his second option wouldn’t be a thing he has to regret later.
